DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) ? Powerball and the New Jersey Lottery say on their online sites that one winning ticket was sold in New Jersey for Saturday night's $338.3 million Powerball jackpot.
Neither agency provided details of exactly when or where the winning ticket was sold in announcing on their websites that one ticket was sold for winning numbers: 17, 29, 31, 52, 53 and Powerball 31.
Powerball's website said that as of Sunday, the current estimated jackpot was $40 million, or a $25 million cash value. Telephone messages left with the New Jersey Lottery by The Associated Press seeking more details about the ticket were not immediately returned.
Lottery officials say the jackpot entering Saturday night's drawing was the sixth highest in history. The Powerball jackpot was last won in early February.
