Don't replace carrots ? Business Management Daily: Free Reports ...

Brent Peterson learned a sad lesson at a food truck. One day, he only had $5. He figured that wouldn?t be enough for Indian cuisine, so he was ready to keep walking when the food truck?s proprietor stopped him.

Peterson explained about the $5 but they found something that worked: gobi masala. He paid and was about to leave when the vendor asked if he wanted bread. Peterson said sure, figuring it was complimentary, but the man demanded $1 more, so his customer left it behind, never to return.

Lesson: Don?t replace a carrot with a stick.
