Please Note: Students @ Work Internships are paid at minimum-wage and structured to last approximately 12 weeks. Program dates are January 28 – April 19. Course Credit is available. Resume is required. Students should have a strong academic record (3.0 strongly preferred). Students must have completed their sophomore year in college prior to the start of the internship. In addition, students may not have graduated college or graduate school prior to the start of the internship (i.e. STUDENTS MUST BE ENROLLED IN SCHOOL DURING THE TIME OF THIS INTERNSHIP). Students seeking college credit are strongly encouraged to apply. Note to International Students: All international students will be required to provide documentation of proper visa paperwork prior to your arrival if accepted to the program.

Department:
Turner Network Sales, Strategic Planning team is a finance / strategy team that has an exciting opportunity for an Intern to work with all Turner network brands. The TNS Strategic Planning team forecasts the distribution revenue across various Turner networks (long-range plans, annual budgets, and monthly forecasts), performs trend analysis, and researches issues of strategic significance to the business.

Internship Description:
The Turner Network Sales, Strategic Planning Intern would provide strategic analytical support for forecasting distribution revenue and analyzing our business strategy for future growth. Examples include researching emerging industry trends, supporting the monthly forecast for DBS distribution (DIRECTV & Dish), and creating ad hoc industry analysis to present to the team.

Required Qualifications/Skills:
The Turner Network Sales Strategic Planning intern should have and interest in the media industry and the skills to:
-Stay organized in a fast-paced environment
-Think analytically
-Microsoft Office Suite experience (especially Excel)
-Strategy or Finance coursework is preferred
